Besides yoga and spa, you can try to visit a spiritual healer during your holiday especially if you have issues related to your body or your mind.

A movie called “Eat Pray Love” is probably a big thing that makes the spiritual healer or Balians become more popular than it used to be. And you should know that the population of Balians is more than the doctor in Ubud. Spiritual healer or Balians is more preferred because they know the healer better than the doctor in the hospital yet it is more efficient and herbal.

So, there are at least two famous Balians in Ubud. But if you are a first time visitor then you better go by recommendation since there are plenty imposters out there that charge good money.

This man is very famous andHe is 96 years old Healer-Shamans in Bali, he is the grandson of the last King of Ubud. He is a renowned Balinese healer and shaman who began to use his gift of communing with deities and spirits over forty years ago. Tjok Rai still sees Balinese people who come by in full dress but tourists by the busload and celebrities from around the world also descend upon his royal compound of Puri Negari, a short drive from Ubud, eager for consultations, for healing, for cures

Tjok Rai opens the practice in Puri Negari village and you need 20 minutes of drive from the central Ubud. It is recommended to book him in advance because you may wait for about 1 to 1.5 hours if you just come to his place.

Looking for a way to reach places from Bali to Nusa Lembongan? Nusa Lembongan is an island located in the eastern side of Bali known for the beauty of its coral reefs and its marine creature, that is why a lot of local and foreign divers book their way to go from Bali to Nusa Lembongan. Nusa Lembongan or so called the best diving place in Bali is a tropical island offering a perfect way to rest and relax while enjoying the sunset. Not only that, there are also micro-industries for seaweed that you can enjoy (this will certainly entice seaweed lovers out there!) The economy here is an economy that is based on tourism as their biggest income, thus the services that they offer would satisfy you as a tourist. Even though water based activities such as diving, banana boating, and surfing are activities that Nusa Lembongan is known for, Nusa Lembongan will also present to you beautiful sceneries, and mesmerizing beaches and horizon.

That is interesting, show me the way!

As a tourism-based island, Nusa Lembongan provides several routes from Bali that you can choose to go there, the most common ones are from Sanur Beach, Serangan, and Benoa Harbour. It might be the most convenient for you to go there from Sanur Beach because around 15 cruises depart from there. To go to Nusa Lembongan from Serangan, you will be served by one of the best fast boat company in Bali. And the last, if you go to Nusa Lembongan from Benoa Harbour, 4 cruises are ready to take you to your desired place. Beside all the companies that will take you to Nusa Lembongan, Local Boat could be your choice for limited budget.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the boat service might be tricky for tourist, so being smart at choosing the right one will be the solution. For Cruises Company, the cost vary from IDR 500.000 to IDR 650.000. Too expensive for your taste? No worries, you still have local boat as your choice that might cost you around IDR 100.000 to IDR 300.000. As a side note, the local boat will take a longer time to take you to the destination. The safety also become the difference here, on bad weather I beseech you to not use a local boat service because usually they do not provide you with life jackets.
